My sister and I wanted a few days together, and a twin room at Craigmonie worked beautifully for us. We explored Inverness, browsed around the city and spent a very enjoyable evening talking in the lounge bar. The pool gave us something else to do together at the hotel. Having breakfast before heading out kept the mornings easy too. We left feeling we'd had a proper catch-up, which was the main reason for our trip.

A wet afternoon became an opportunity to enjoy more of Craigmonie, which we were very happy about. We had a swim, spent time in the sauna and then took a tea break in the room. Later we headed down to the lounge bar before dinner. It was lovely having those options within the hotel. Our Inverness plans still gave us plenty to see, but that easy afternoon became a particularly enjoyable part of the stay.
