⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful Birthday Celebration & Peaceful Nature Stay We visited Sunday Alaya Resort to celebrate my daughter’s first birthday with a group of 17 people, including 2 kids, and had a truly memorable experience. The resort is perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful stay away from the city and commercial hustle. Surrounded by pure nature, it gives you the feeling of being away from everything and is an ideal place to unwind with family. The staff is extremely friendly and the hospitality is excellent. The food deserves a special mention—it was fresh, delicious and full of flavour. A very special thanks to Chef Mr. Sanjay Bisht for taking such great care of our meals and making sure everything was perfect for our group. A very special mention to Mr. Manoj Sharma, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From helping us plan the entire stay and food to managing bookings, coordinating my daughter’s first birthday celebration, arranging the decoration and cake, and even personally checking in with our guests—he took care of every little detail. His dedication and personal involvement made a huge difference. Overall, it was a beautiful family experience, and Sunday Alaya made my daughter’s first birthday truly special. We will definitely cherish the memories and would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled and well-managed getaway. The absolute best part of this resort is its incredible greenery. The property is surrounded by amazing trees and fruit orchards—we loved seeing the lychee, mango, chiku, and peach trees scattered around. The resort also offers great views of the surrounding landscape. The only catch is that you can't really see them from the room's gallery/balcony; you do have to step outside into the common areas or grounds to truly appreciate the scenery, but it’s well worth it. ⚠️ Areas for Improvement: Room Amenities & Service While our time outside was lovely, the indoor experience and hospitality could use some fine-tuning. The Geyser / Hot Water: Our primary issue was the hot water system. The staff did not provide clear or accurate information on how to operate the geyser, which made getting consistent hot water a bit of a guessing game. Clear instructions for guests are definitely needed here. General Service: Overall, the service has plenty of room to improve. Staff responsiveness and attention to detail felt lacking at times. 📋 Overall Verdict If you are looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature and beautiful fruit trees, this place has great potential. However, if top-notch service and seamless amenities are your priority, you might want to manage your expectations. With a few operational improvements, this could be a fantastic stay.
