Family Stay – 3 Days, 3 Rooms We recently had a wonderful 3-day family stay at Palette Hotel Cecil, and overall it was a very pleasant experience worth sharing. The property itself is beautifully maintained — clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully designed. The highlight for us was the jacuzzi and the stunning views, which made for some truly relaxing evenings after a day of sightseeing. The surroundings are serene and peaceful. The hotel is located about 3–4 km from Dal Lake, which is a short and easy drive. Not right on the lake, but certainly not inconvenient for families who have their own transport. What truly stood out was the warmth of the staff. Despite our visit coinciding bakrid, every single team member went above and beyond to fulfil our requests with a smile. That kind of hospitality is hard to find and deserves special appreciation. The only area with room for improvement was the food menu — the options were a bit limited, and a wider variety (especially for families with kids) would make the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a lovely property with great views, excellent hospitality, and a comfortable atmosphere for families. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting the region!
Our stay at this newly opened property in Srinagar was truly wonderful. The hotel is well maintained, comfortable, and offers a very pleasant atmosphere for guests. What made our experience even more special was the exceptional hospitality from the staff. A special mention to Mehshan Ahmed at the reception — he was extremely polite, humble, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. He made sure we were comfortable at all times and assisted us with everything we needed with a warm smile and great professionalism. We would also like to appreciate Faizan and Shahid for their excellent support and hospitality. They were always available whenever we needed any help and ensured that our dinner and breakfast experiences were smooth and enjoyable. The entire team went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Srinagar. Looking forward to staying here again.
